We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce QA Engineer to join our development team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our Salesforce platform through a combination of manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of both QA methodologies and the Salesforce ecosystem and will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, reliable Salesforce solutions.
Requirements and responsibilities
What you'll do:
Test Strategy:
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce projects.
AutomationTesting:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using tools specifically in Provar and Selenium.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and deployment.
Manual Testing:
  • Perform hands-on manual testing, including functional, system integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and support.
Salesforce Expertise:
  • Test custom Salesforce configurations, Apex, Visualforce pages, Flows, and Lightning components.
  • Validate Salesforce integration with other internal or external systems.
  • Ensure data migration and security settings are validated.
  • Defect Management
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using project management tools like Jira.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Reporting
  • Clearly communicate testing progress, results, and overall application quality to the project team and other stakeholders.
Documentation
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and QA procedures. 
What you'll bring:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, with a strong focus on Salesforce testing.
  • Salesforce Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and common standard and custom functionalities.
  • Automation Proficiency: Hands-on experience with test automation tools Provar and Selenium and knowledge of creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Manual Testing Skills: In-depth experience with manual testing practices, including test case design, execution, and exploratory testing.
  • Methodologies: Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tools: Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools like Jira and a version control system like Git.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have:
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Administrator or Platform Developer I.
  • Experience with other Salesforce testing tools, such as Provar or Selenium.
  • Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, or SOSL.
  • Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP).
